Welcome to the new Plasback New Zealand website

Plasback is the trans Tasman name for the Tapex Group's Product Stewardship programmes in both Australia and New Zealand. Plasback now operates Agpac's Product Stewardship scheme to recover used farm plastics for recycling. The new name also recognises the new partners that have joined the Product Stewardship programme and the expanded range of plastic wastes we can collect from farms.

Agpac is New Zealand's largest supplier of crop packaging products and we have been operating a Product Stewardship programme for the last six years. This programme has developed a network of collectors throughout New Zealand allowing farmers an easy access to an "on farm collection" to remove the problem of used bale wrap. As part of our continued commitment to Product Stewardship we now operate two purpose built balers designed to improve the onward transport logistics from our main centres to the recycling plants. Plasback has now collected over 1000 tonnes of used bale wrap since its inception.
